Status Explanation

This is the current status of the mill, for all the mills that were existing in the USA as of late 2000:

blank: mill is in operation

Idle: mill is idle but may restart at anytime

Pulp mill idle: pulp mill is idle but paper mill is in operation

Paper mill idle: paper mill is idle but pulp mill is in operation

Closed: mill is closed or shut down and is unlikely to restart anytime
