About the Faculty:

BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH – Dennis H. Nagao

Dennis NagaoDennis is currently Faculty Director of the Executive Masters Program in Management of Technology, Faculty Director of IT Support Services, and Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, all at the Georgia Tech College of Management at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also serves as the Editor of the Academy of Management Proceedings. Dennis earned his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has previously taught on the faculty of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.

Dennis' research interests include individual and group decision-making, team performance effectiveness, and technological impacts on group and individual behavior. His work has appeared in a wide range of academic journals and has been presented at numerous professional meetings. He serves as a reviewer for journals, book publishers, and professional societies.

He has also served as a consultant assisting organizations with issues concerning team effectiveness, team building, collaboration, and organizational design. He teaches courses on organizational behavior, organizational theory and design, decision-making, and teams. Dennis also leads a wide range of executive education sessions including developing and managing high performance teams, business ethics, managing relationships, communicating effectively, negotiation and conflict resolution, team building, and decision-making.
