About the Speakers:

Robert A. (Bob) Renner
Bob Renner is one of the creators and chief executive officer of ForestExpress, the transaction processing network for the forest products industry. Renner has evolved a keen understanding of the challenges facing the paper industry in business-to-business trading partner relationships, and the opportunities to enhance those relationships through e-commerce.

Alan Procter
Alan Procter is a senior international consultant helping organizations exploit their future in their business strategy. Together with partners, he brings a unique software supported process called Future Robust Strategy to the forest product sector. He is also a proven leader in innovative research management, as regular column contributor to industry journals, and a speaker at international conferences.

Kai Korhonen
Kai Korhonen is president of Stora Enso North America following its acquisition of Consolidated Papers, Inc. in 2000. He has been chairman of the board for E. Holtsmann & Cie. AG, Karlsruhe, Germany, since 1997, past chairman of the Finnish Paper Engineer's Association, and former board member of Verhand Ostdeutscher Papierfabriken.

Patrick Moore
Dr. Moore has been a leader in the international environmental field for over 30 years as a co-founding member of Greenpeace and through his involvement with numerous environmental concerns. In 1991, Dr. Moore founded Greespirit, a consultancy focusing on environmental policy and communications in natural resources, biodiversity, energy, and climate change.

Robert H. Buckman
Robert Buckman, former chairman of the board and CEO (1978-2000) of Bulab Holdings, Inc., the parent company of the Buckman Laboratories Group, has been heavily involved in the pulp and paper industry for some time. Buckman has received countless awards in the area of knowledge sharing and currently serves as president of Applied Knowledge Group, Inc.

Richard Florida
Acclaimed author, consultant, and advisor, Richard Florida serves as Professor of Economic Development at Carnegie-Mellon University, where he is founder and co-director of the Software Industry Center. His latest book, The Rise of the Creative Class: And How It's Transforming Work, Leisure Community and Everyday Life, was recently praised by the New York Times and has achieved an exceptionally high sales ranking on Amazon.com.
